Established in March of 2021, 「nent」almost instantly proved its capabilities by being awarded a Michelin star in the following year of 2022.
Located within only a 5 minute walk from Osaka Umeda station, 「nent」was established by Chef Furukawa who spent many arduous years of training at La Cime (Osaka) and akordu (Nara) and owner/sommelier Tanaka who served as the manager of ad hoc (Osaka) and Fujiya 1935 (Osaka).
The word “nent” is defined as “to spin thread”.
The dishes served here are filled with the wish to “weave together the bonds of the guests who dine together here” and aim to not only express amazing flavors, but also emotions of whimsy and times of richness.
With the culinary techinques of French cuisine as its base, the cuisine is not trapped by preconceptions but completed with creative freedom and also accentuated by amazing customizeable drink-pairings which cater to the preferences of every guest.
We hope you come and enjoy the rich, creative and unique cuisine of 「nent」which utilizes every aspect of Japan’s four seasons, amazing array of ingredients and skillful use of spices.
