Osaka Japanese Cuisine

A unique depth and feeling in each single dish. A 2 Michelin-star forerunner of Japanese cuisine.

After many years of rigorous training at Honkogetsu, the famous establishment in Osaka considered to be the pinnacle of Japanese cuisine, owner and chef Daisuke Miyamoto opened Miyamoto in June of 2012.
Miyamoto was awarded 2 Michelin stars in the following Ocotober and has since maintained this distinguished title over the years.
With a strong bedrock of basics and tradition, this free and unique style of Japanese cuisine is truly one that can only be experienced at Miyamoto. The commitment to provide the best hospitality by the Chef and his wife can be felt in their dishes, the rare dishware that the dishes are presented in, and the beautiful chestnut wood counter which only seats up to 8 exclusive guests at once. Miyamoto’s courses, which change monthly, never ceases to amaze returning guests, as the Chef constantly adds and incorporates techniques he finds in other cuisines to his own.
He is also very active in the education of the next generation in the art and beauty of Japanese cuisine and is highly-respected all throughout the industry for his endeavors.
