Awarded consecutive 3 Michelin stars, Osaka’s prestigious Kashiwaya Senriyama Honten has traditionally welcomed guests in spacious private rooms. On June 17, 2022, a brand new concept of Kashiwaya which features only counter seating was unveiled in Osaka’s Kitashinchi. Its head chef, Chef Atsushi Takahashi, has been with Kashiwaya since 1996 and served as the head chef at the 2 Michelin-starred Kashiwaya Hong Kong (currently closed). This much-anticipated counter-style Kashiwaya has established itself almost instantly among diners and critics alike, earning a Michelin star in the 2024 Michelin Guide Kyoto Osaka. Unlike the main branch, guests at the Kitashinchi location can enjoy the unique atmosphere of counter seating while watching the passionate chefs busy at work. The feel of the counter is so smooth and delightful that it will remind you of the touch of a newborn baby’s skin. Come and experience the new Kashiwaya, where every detail is meticulously crafted.
