Even after being renamed Honami, this long-standing establishment and its second-generation owner Chef Koichiro Koshizawa still offers the same amazing traditional cuisine of Kanazawa within the most atmospheric rooms of Sukiya-zukuri and Shoin-zukuri architecture built in the late-Meiji period.
Kanazawa fortuitously escaped the devastation and fires of WW2 and is one of the few major cities in Japan with untouched beautiful historic townscapes remaining. Surrounded by both mountain and sea, it is also blessed by the rich bounty of nature in all four seasons so its cuisine, architecture and plateware are those which truly delights all five senses.
Honami boasts 6 traditional Japanese-style private rooms which seat from 2 to 30 guests and which all offer an amazing view of the Japanese garden.
Enjoy a luxurious time away from the troubles of everyday in this 2 Michelin-starred proud and noble traditional Japanese establishment.
