Located in the lively area of Shinsaibashi, Osaka, sukiyaki “Kitamura” has continued to remain an highly popular restaurant and treasured by many since its founding in 1881.
Guests dine in private rooms where friendly kimono-clad hostesses expertly prepare and cook their meal.
The aged, tender, and marbled meat is grilled in Kitamura’s exclusive Kansai-style sukiyaki sauce and absolutely melts in your mouth. In addition to sukiyaki, a wide array of other dishes are available, such as mizutaki and butter-yaki.
The the traditional sukiya-zukuri architecture gives the interior of the restaurant a refined and traditional atmosphere, making it the perfect place for all types of of occasions and is frequented by visitors from all around the world hoping to enjoy the umami of Kitamura’s famous Sukiyaki.
