Listed in the Michelin Guide as 1 Star and located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, sukiyaki restaurant “Kitamura” has continued to remain a popular restaurant and treasured by many since its founding in 1881.
Guests dine in a private room where a friendly kimono-clad hostess cooks their meal. The aged, tender, and marbled meat is grilled with Kitamura’s exclusive Kansai-style sukiyaki sauce and, umami filled melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef.
In addition to sukiyaki, an array of other dishes are available, such as mizutaki and butter-yaki.
The tranquil sukiya-zukuri interior architecture makes the restaurant suitable for a wide variety of occasions and is frequented by visitors from around the world.
