- Babies and Small Children
For generations, Hiro has been one of Kyoto’s most renowned and beloved yakiniku establishments.
The brand is divided into two styles: “Kyo no Yakiniku-dokoro Hiro” offering a casual and approachable way to enjoy yakiniku at reasonable prices, and “Kyo Yakiniku Hiro”, which emphasizes premium cuts and a refined space for savoring yakiniku at a more leisurely pace.
In September 2025, to make this celebrated dining experience even more accessible, Kyo Yakiniku Hiro Hachijoguchi Bettei opened just 5 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station.
Despite its convenient central location, the restaurant welcomes guests with a Kyoto-inspired entrance and a warm interior design that blends natural wood and soft tones, creating the perfect setting to enjoy wagyu in comfort.
All Hiro wagyu is sourced by purchasing entire cattle directly at auction from the Kyoto Meat Wholesale Market. By eliminating unnecessary middlemen and employing proprietary butchering techniques, Hiro is able to provide wagyu that is fresher, more flavorful, and better value, without compromising on quality.
With its dedication to flavor, value, and heartfelt hospitality, Kyo Yakiniku Hiro remains a name that never disappoints when dining on yakiniku in Kyoto.
