In 2019, after 25 years of culmination, the Michelin 1 star “Restaurant Yonemura” has re-opened its doors as “Shinmonzen Yonemura” located at Gion, Kyoto. Since then it has been promoted and continues to hold 2 Michelin stars.
Shinmonzen Yonemura will surprise it’s guests with the best tasting meal with dishes representing the chef’s unique qualities.
The cuisine created by Chef Yonemura is a combination of French and Japanese cuisine that can only be experienced in Restaurant Yonemura.
The restaurant’s interior is inspired by Chef Yonemura’s tastes and Modern Japanese-Style. The innovative yet calm space combines antiques and Japanese-style, while complementing each and every cuisine that is served.
