“Iwasaki” is the restaurant of Chef Makoto Iwasaki, who after being the top chef for over 10 years at the famous Kobe beef teppanyaki restaurants “Bifuteki Kawamura” and “Kobe Beef Steak Ishida,” opened his own business.

In recent years most Wagyu beef vendors emphasizes the marbling (fat distribution) and its subsequent visual appeal. But Iwasaki you can savor the perfect balance of fat and meat which will help you understand what true Kobe Beef is supposed to be.
The secret lies in the cooking techniques. All the flavors of the meat are extracted by Chef Iwasaki, who has honed his skills over 10 years as a chef and has an in-depth understanding of the art of teppanyaki.
The L-shaped counter with 13 seats offers a splendid view and provides a space from where you can watch the chef’s extraordinary skills while savoring the amazing dishes it produces. Supporting the chef is his own wife, who is also a seasoned chef.
