Prestigous Michelin 1-star Mizutaki establishent loved by Sakamoto Ryoma
Founded in 1788, Toriyasa boasts a rich history of over 200 years and its artistic and historic building has been even registered as a Tangible Cultural Property. The visuals of its space seem to teleport guests back in time to the Edo period when it was first built.
Toriyasa is one of the rare Mizutaki establishments which hold a Michelin star and its signature hotpot is famous for being loved by Sakamoto Ryoma, one of Japan most iconic historic figures.
The white Mizutaki broth is prepared over 3 full days and its recipe is known only by the master, his heir and a few highly-trusted chefs. It uses only the most premium meat and bones from 3-month old Tamba-Jidori and Nagoya-Cochin chickens.
At Toriyasa, guests will have the chance to taste and experience the best Mizutaki created over 200 years of tradition and experience.
