Escape the city and enjoy Japanese cuisine in the birthplace of Shotoku Taishi, a symbol of Japan’s culture and peace, at Hanasaki-tei, where every seat is a private room.

Set in a spacious Japanese garden that bursts with seasonal beauty—rhododendrons in spring, fresh greenery in summer, and brilliant autumn foliage—Hanasaki-tei offers a peaceful dining experience in Taishi Town, Osaka.

Chef Kubouchi, who trained at the Michelin 3-starred Kashiwaya Senriyama, creates visually stunning dishes using seasonal ingredients. He can accommodate vegetarian diets and many dietary restrictions (though unfortunately not vegan).

Guests are welcome to stroll through the garden, breathe in the crisp countryside air, and enjoy the changing seasons—an experience rarely found in the city.

The restaurant is just 30 minutes by car from central Osaka. For those traveling by train, it’s a 15-minute taxi ride from Kishi Station, and shuttle service is available for groups of up to 23. With parking for 50 cars, the location also welcomes large tour buses.

Whether at the start or end of your journey, or simply as a special occasion, Hanasaki-tei offers a dining experience worth reserving.
